Creating a quote quickly and professionally is often the difference between winning the job or losing it. With the quote feature in ByggExp you build a complete offer with line items, price, ROT deduction and VAT in minutes – no more copy-pasting in Word or Excel every time a client gets in touch.

What a quote is in ByggExp

A quote (offert) is a price proposal you send to the client before work begins. In ByggExp the quote is a digital document tied to a project, where each line has a description, quantity, unit price and VAT. You instantly see the total, how the ROT deduction affects it and what the customer actually pays.

Getting started – step by step

  1. Go to Quotes in the web admin and click New quote. Pick the client and link the quote to the right project.
  2. Add line items – for example labour, material and machinery. Fill in description, quantity, unit price and unit for each row.
  3. Set the VAT rate (usually 25%) and mark whether the ROT deduction applies. ByggExp calculates the customer's share automatically.
  4. Write a clear intro with validity period, payment terms and what is included.
  5. Preview and press Send. The client receives the quote by email with your company logo.
  6. In the mobile app you can quickly duplicate an earlier quote on site and send a new one straight from the jobsite.
